Gingko (S-Trunk)
The Gingko (Gingko biloba) is a prehistoric tree native to China. They are deciduous trees meant to be raised outdoors. They are most well known for their exoticly shaped leaves. Gingkos are very resilient, some specimens living over 2,000 years. This tree trunk grows in an attractive S-shape.

Location
Outdoor bonsai are generally kept outdoors year-round. Keep them somewhere with adequate sunlight in the morning, and partial sunlight in the afternoon. If temperatures are dipping to freezing in the winter, they may be brought to a garage/shed for shelter.
Watering
Monitor the dryness of the soil every day. If the soil feels dry, you may water from the top or soak from the bottom for 5-10 minutes. The frequency of watering can range from once a day in the summer, to once a month in the winter (colder season = water less).
Fertilzing
Pellet/time-release bonsai fertilizer is recommended. Liquid fertilzer works as well but is less effective. Follow instructions that come with your chosen fertilizer. Do NOT fertilize in the winter. Generally, fertilize once every month for other seasons.
Trimming/Repotting
